Our annual wheelchair drive offers activities for the whole family!

Below are pictures from the delivery trip to Equcador. Besides the children being served by the orthopedic team, up to 50 children will receive wheelchairs that were shipped (in pieces) back in December. Over the past month those wheelchairs have been re-assembled by volunteers. Dr. Fellers and his wife, Flor have been leading teams to Portoveijo for 14 years.
Jimena is a 6 year old with osteogenesis imperfecta. This childs chair fit her so well that she was able to self propel.
What a difference this new independence has made for Johnathan! The streets of this small village will never be the same as he begins exploring them!
It took the whole team to make the many adaptations needed with very limited resources.
Atinio and his mother, were very excited about his new chair.
